Meet the founder
Jared Colby
Founder & Owner
Jared has dedicated 18 years to the construction trades, starting his career as a carpenter and evolving into a prominent business leader among contractors in Maine. He established MGC to merge exceptional craftsmanship with a steadfast commitment to relationships, transparency, and integrity — making it one of the leading general contractors in Maine.
In his free time, Jared enjoys giving back to the community, spending quality moments with his wife and kids, and playing disc golf — values that carry directly into how MGC operates every day.

Every member of our team understands that construction projects represent significant investments — of time, money, and trust. We take that responsibility seriously at every stage of every project.
